From a can onboard the Explorer II off the coast of West Caicos. Light pour, light nose, light flavor. A light weight beer. But when you are desperate ...

Thanks to Phil’s wife! Skunk aroma. Flavor is mild. Not too horrible. Would taste better sitting on the beach.

Pretty much what you would expect from a Caribbean pale lager. Nose slightly skunky, corn, and malt. Taste not much at all, a little malt. No bitterness, no finish.

Bottle. Had this on the Grand Turks. Great beach beer. Served with lime. Not as good the Amber. Taste like Corona or some other Mexican beach beers.

Had this on tap at at Danny Buoy’s in Turks and Caicos. The bartender failed to let me know it was a light beer after I’d been drinking Turks Head Amber all evening. Regardless, this pours clear yellow with a thin quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of corn and minimal hops. Taste of malt and soggy cardboard extremely metallic tasting. If you’re going to be drinking on this island, drink the amber...

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Geez, I know I reviewed this on here before, about a week ago and it’s gone. That last one had a major mango thing going on. This one poured with a decent, thick, foamy, white head that lasts a while and some lace. Color is a clear yellow with lots of large bubble trails. Aroma is fruit and wet grain. Flavor has almost no malt, lots of wet grain, neutral sweetness, a little bitter and some tang. Body is ok and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor, not much like beer at all and hasts too long. Hope this review is recorded because thankfully I wont be able to have another.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
It must be this one, ’cause it ain’t amber, and the picture matches. 4.8% though. Anyhow. Bottle brought from the islands by a well meaning friend. Gold with a ring of white head. Nose is a little corny. Flavour is almost non-existant, but at least it’s not as sweet as some of the other Caribbean lagers.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle as shown while in Grand Turk. Pours a pale golden with a small quickly diminishing white head. The aroma is a corn malt and cereal. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet corn malt and nice crisp finish. Easy to drink, a good pale lager.
