3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Eulogy. Billed as "Turnhoutse Saison." Hazy gold pour with a very large fizzy/foamy white head. Carbonation definitely fills out the body here. No extraordinary flavors, but feels much more like a Belgium Blonde or Strong Ale than a Saison. Beats a Stella or Duval.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
11.2oz bottle. Labeled "Turnhoutse Saison". Mostly hazy darker golden color. Big, moundy off-white head. Fades to a thin amount, leaves a few thick ropes of lace. Bready, sort of lemony estery nose, some belgian yeast. Pretty sweet taste, less herbal than most saisons. More on the belgian ale end of the spectrum. Some citrusy hop. Medium-plus body. Soft, stronger carbonation. Strong carbonation makes it kind of hard to drink until itís sat for more than an hour... I prefer my saisons to go down easy. More dry finish. Lightly chalky. OK, not totally my style. A little harsh until the carbonation dies down.. Then the hop flavor comes out and it starts to get a little interesting, but thereís still a strong belgian yeast flavor that dominates, and an odd flavor.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Single bottle from Julios. Pours out a hazy light lemon color. Huge white head - somewhat overcarbonated. Bready-yeasty aromas. Classic fruity-spice-bread yeast profile. Soft body. Lingering spice-lemon notes. Not bad at all.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Straw pour with a white head. The aroma is a mix of wheat, grass and yeast. The flavor is similar with wheat, grass, yeast and a light amount of metal. Medium carbonation and thin mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
33 cl. bottle @ home from Willems. BBF 06/2015. Seems like this is a saison with USA hops, interesting. Sparkling golden with a very creamy white head. Smell is soap, sweet white bread, peppery BE yeast, floral, zest, banana & kitchen spices. Taste is sweet banana, soap, white bread, BE yeast, floral, lavender leaves, pepper, straw, esters, odd bitter aftertaste, some grass, kind of herb or roat. Quite creamy &milky. More of a regular garden variety Belgian Ale than a saison, some odd notes, okay but far less exiting than promised by the description.
