3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Quite spicy, yeasty with some honey sweetness. Taste is malty with quite a strong honey sweetness balanced well by the peppery, yeasty flavours.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Thanks Eric: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Medium to bigger sized, vast and slowly changing, fluffy creamy foamy head on top of a beautiful hazy orange colored beer.
Aromas of malts, a light fruity touch like orange and a light hoppy citrus tone (very light), yeast, some grains and caramel. Quite crispy.
Flavours of herbs, barley malts, light hop tone, more fruiy tone of yeast and crispy grains, some floral and bitter tones, a touch of some dry malts, hint of roosvicee and a light hint of something dough alike.
Aftertaste is a mix of yeast, some fruit, light orange, some bitters, light grainy and some spiced herbs. Nice.
Low carbo, soft creamy silky mouthfeel, good medium body and a thick creamy oily texture.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Misty orange/copper body with large bubbly head. Classic style Belgian amber with moderate alcohol, yet the aroma is pleasant and smooth. Not without hop either and a light peachy aroma. Foamy mouth feel, nicely developed. Some sticky fruit notes yet the palate is smooth enough. Bit too sweet though, but that’s maybe just me. Decent amber, better than most small French ambrées. (33cl bottle from the brewery)

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
light amber color. Light soft hoppy mouth with notes of apricots. Not bad, but pretty much straight down the middle for the style.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had on tap at Montmartre’s Fête des Vendanges, where all sorts of food products from around France gather and sell their wares for four days. Aroma is some cereal, barley and alcohol. Appearance is a thin beige head, with a foggy brown body. Taste is a decent mix of malts and cereal. Has a dry finish, and a slightly funky aftertaste. It’s a decent amber with plenty of unique grain notes to make it taste something close to a saison.
