Kevin (1917), Colorado, USA Dec 6, 2005 light brown pour with a lacing cream head. aroma- a bit of grass. taste is light pine , sugar daddy candy and grass. woody finish that i like . an easy drinking ipa that is not over the top. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Oct 15, 2005 GABF 05. Pours a rich gold with a faint floral aroma. Flavor has a slight hops bite; reminds me of an IPA light. Palate coats. Nice, refreshing. jcr (1137), Jasper, Indiana, USA Aug 22, 2005 Balanced toward sweet malts rather than hops. Caramel aroma with a bit of a hop nose. Taste of fresh caramel predominates. Still, there is enough hop bitterness and bite to keep the IPA honest. Nicely carbonated. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA Apr 23, 2005 The beer seems to change month to month. I felt compelled to finally rate it after having a pint tonight. Along with a nice hop balance, I noticed a nice underbelly of caramel malts. Seemed more balanced than usual, which is a good thing and a step in the right direction. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA Sep 30, 2004 Tap at Mad Anthony’s. Decent IPA. Medium bodied. Nice amber color. Solid hop aroma, piney. Malt stands up nicely. jsquire (2087), St. Marys, Ohio, USA Sep 29, 2004 On tap at Mad Anthony’s Octobeer Fest. Amber color with a thin off-white head. Nice hop nose. Tastey malty beer with a clean caramel sweetness. Lots of soft pine hops in the finish. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Jun 28, 2004 The light, creamy head sat atop a dark brownish amber body. For an IPA, the hops is not overwhelming. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA Jun 18, 2004 Draft - big malt nose. Deep, dark golden color with a smallish head. To my taste, this is more of an English style IPA. It did not have the big American hop nose/taste. Still a nice beer that went well with their pizza.
