| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 22, 2005 Balanced toward sweet malts rather than hops. Caramel aroma with a bit of a hop nose. Taste of fresh caramel predominates. Still, there is enough hop bitterness and bite to keep the IPA honest. Nicely carbonated. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 23, 2005 The beer seems to change month to month. I felt compelled to finally rate it after having a pint tonight. Along with a nice hop balance, I noticed a nice underbelly of caramel malts. Seemed more balanced than usual, which is a good thing and a step in the right direction. Acknud (794), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA

Pour is a deep copper with a good size, foamy head and good lacing. Decent hop aroma- Pine, citrus. Some floral and sweet malts as well. Flavor is slightly bitter. I get some woody notes and sweet malts later in the mid/finish. Nice texture and mouthfeel, but a bit thin. raindog (559), Evansville, Indiana, USA

Finish is a little more bitter but still sweet(malts)and balanced with hop flavor. Tasted a little alcohol at one point.Overall,I was extremely impressed. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 18, 2004 Draft - big malt nose. Deep, dark golden color with a smallish head. To my taste, this is more of an English style IPA. It did not have the big American hop nose/taste. Still a nice beer that went well with their pizza. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2004 The light, creamy head sat atop a dark brownish amber body. For an IPA, the hops is not overwhelming.
