IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 7, 2009 Bottle pours a clear very pale straw yellow. Fleeting white head. Pale lager aroma light sweet adjunct smell. Flavor is very odd smokey sour. Very light bodies and the trailer is thankfully very quick.
BückDich (4793), McCall, Idaho, USA Nov 7, 2009 Pours a clear yellow color with fizzy white head. The nose is husky with light adjuncts and malt with a tinge of herbal hops. The flavor is semi-malty and an odd cherios note in the tail. Very thin and light. Better than all the american light beers, but it’s still just a plain pale lager. A little tart in the tail, but in a way that makes it more interesting. Almost like cooking pumpkins or squash in the flavor. halfonit (423), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA Nov 6, 2009 Has a pale golden color. Aroma is bitter, vinegar, and slight hops. Taste is of light malts, watered down English ale flavor. Has a vinegary aftertaste. Nothing special at all. fromred2green (141), , Ohio, USA Nov 6, 2009 Bottle. VERY pale yellow with a medium fizzy head. Aroma of malts. Flavor is cereal and even a little grassy. Nothing spectacular. RuneStumo (495), FØRRESFJORDEN, Norway Oct 23, 2009 23.10.2009, 0,5l Bottle. Oddefellowe (28), Tampa, Florida, USA Oct 18, 2009 A rather watery beer that employs the "less is more" approach to hops and malt. Very subtle hay/earthen notes to the scent. Thin. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 16, 2009 Bottle. High creamy lasting white head. Clear yellow thin looking body. Very sweet barley malt aroma with notes of corn and hay. Flavor is mainly corny sweetness with pilsener-ish grains, some hay and zero hops. Sticky and not refreshing. About what I was expecting from a Kenya pale lager...
