Tusker Lager

Aroma is initially of urine with a little skunk. That settles down after a bit, but is never really appealing. Flavor is a pretty simple malt liquor, some corn, a bit of malt, not much going on. Pass, if you can.

12oz bottle: Apperance is golden brown with quick fading white head, aroma has hints of malt and spices but very weak, flavor like caronated malty water. Very little flavor to this beer but no off flavors to speak of.

Aroma - lightly sweet malt. Appearance - clear golden color with puffy white head that had medium retention but better than average lacing. Flavor - lightly sweet, corn, hit of hops. Palate - thin like water, but with average carbonation. Overall - super light on taste, reminds me of the water-like beers such as coors light, miller light, bud light.... A let down really, but if you like those watery beers then maybe this is right up your alley.

Good malt aroma but could use more. Sight biscuity smell with a touch fruit and some pee on deep whiffs. Has a weak unlear gold - maybe nearer to straw colour, poured a big creamy white cap that has really good retention the entire time and produces nice ropy lacing. Mouthfeel is really smooth and creamy. Medium light body. Taste is a bit of a let down since I was expecting a more profound malt flavour, but better than I expected for overall goodness. Either way, there is still plenty of malt taste that is backed by an obvious quantity of mild hops. The after taste is a bit odd with a sweet earthiness and slight bitterness which all fades quickly. Decent enough beer. I’d buy it on occasion if I could.

Bottle. Aroma is boiled vegetables and malt. The first displeasing aroma disappears after a few seconds to leave a very bland and somewhat grainy aroma. Clear pale yellow with a medium frothy white head with good retention and average lacing. Flavor is fruity with water malt, and some hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Thin body and watery mouthfeel.

Bottle shared with DuffmanSW. Pours clear yellow gold with a soapy white head that dissipates fast. Aroma has some sweet pound cake and cheesecake that is pleasing, but not much else. Flavor is very light and a little sweet, bready and clean. Palate is thin and watery but carbonation is nice. For a pale lager that I would generally hate, this is better than average. Still don’t think I’d buy again.

Bottle thanks to Mspindler...Pours like a golden shower (not that I know what that looks like or anything)...Kinda sweet in the nose.. Bready tasting.. pretty light and and not too hard to drink... Would not buy again unless I ended up in Kenya for some reason..

Pours a light golden color with a white head. Not much aroma on this one. What is present is grainy with a slight hint of floral hops. Flavor is almost nonexistent. It’s almost like drinking carbonated water.
