Bottle. Pours very pale yellow green with fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet corn and a sort of sparkling citrus with a background of cookies. The flavor is a mellow sweet graininess with some distant citrus hints. Uninteresting, but inoffensive.

My first African beer and I have to say this Pale Lager stands up well to many American and Euro comperable bland lagers. The problem is, this style of beer has the least amount of taste you can have in a non-American lite beer. It’s a bit more carbonated and finishes a bit better than most. Low rating from ratebeer...why am I not surprised?

500ml bottle.
Pale yellow beer with a tall white head that bubbles off. Sweet, grainy, grassy aroma. Sweet bready flavour. Average palate. Better than expected.

V - Pours like lemonade with a head to it. Incredibly pale color. A - Packs more nose than I would have thought given the color. Sweet malt. T - Yeasty with some sweetness to it. Again, more taste than I would have given it credit for. P - Unremarkable.

Well... it’s beer. Faintly sweet aroma and flavor. VERY pale. Refreshing and unoffensive, but not much else. Bottle from Market Street Wineshop Downtown Charlottesville, VA.

Pours a very pale yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is of grain, malts, corn and ripe pears. Taste is a little salty, with corn, grass and stale malts in the finish.

Probably one of the least offensive beers out there. Almost no aroma, flavor is slightly sweet corn, with a very crisp finish. Great after a hot summer day.

I like this beer. It rocks on a hot day better than any common beer. It smells of apples and is very light bodied. It feels very delecate in your mouth like champaign. Overall a nice change of pace and a great hot weather beer.
