Bottle. Adjuct odour and some faint malt. Much maize in the flavour and damned little else. Finish like water and metal. The only one reason to drink this is. You are in Africa, and this the only thing you have to drink.

Pours a pale sparkling gold with a fluffy white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is surprisingly decent, with a hint of sugar cookies. The flavor is flat and bitter, with a bit of a cardboard quality. A strange, sweetish finish.

500ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours an excessively effervescent, excessively pale yellow. Looks like, noting. Smells like, nothing. Tastes like, nothing. This could almost pass as a substitute for Perrier. Wow, unbelievably vague flavours of beer-like things, mostly just sweet malts. What an astoundingly empty drink. Drinkable, mainly due to the fact that it’s more or less carbonated water. Even for a lousy imported pale lager from the LCBO, this is pretty ridiculous. It doesn’t even taste bad, it just tastes like nothing, so I really don’t know what I can realistically give this thing points for.

Bottle: Poured a golden to pale color with white medium head. The aroma was sweet and somewhat grassy. The taste was similar with lots of sweet carbonated goodness.

Pours clear pale yellow with white head. Faint aroma of floral hops. Slightly sweet with a hint of lemon. Light body with average carbonation. A typical pale lager, nothing special

bottle. pours a green tinted pale gold with much carbonation and a thin white head. smells very grassy with a bit of lemon. sweet grainy flavor with a hint of chlorine. prickly body somewhat saves it. finishes quite dry. the head fades down to a thin layer but remains that way throughout. not bad for a pale lager, but could be much better.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pale yellow-gold with a medium white head. Aroma of light malt, grain, a bit of corn, a hint of floral hops. Thin body. Flavour is sweet in a cloying, chemical-ish sort of way, with hints of cheap malt and corn, and a faintly hopped finish. Pretty much what I expected.

I thought there was a very surprising sweetish note in the aroma. It was present in the first sip, too -- a hint of some candyish, fruity flavor I can’t quite place; more banana-y than corny, but... banana’s not right, either. It’s a little disconcerting. The color is a clear but uninteresting golden yellow, with a fizzy white head that flattens to nothing (and I mean NOTHING) very quickly. Mouthfeel is watery. Pleasant enough flavor to start out with, but by the last sip I felt like I was drinking old dishwater. My curiosity is sated.
