DownsouthGav (602), Greater London, England Apr 22, 2008 Bottle from Oddbins. Nose is quite chemical, notes of cereal and hops. Pours a light yellow beer. Taste is creal and powdery. Not very pleasant. Illuminatus (87), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Apr 18, 2008 500mL bottle from the LCBO. Pours very pale yellow. Possibly the lightest-coloured beer I’ve ever seen. Nice, foamy white head. Aroma has an unpleasant vegetal note. Surprisingly pleasant flavour, with a noticeable touch of hops. Would make a decent lawnmower beer. blipp (1632), Newark, New Jersey, USA Apr 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt, grain a hint of apple and a hint of flowers. Light body. Flavor is again sweet malt. It’s drinkable. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 12, 2008 Pale Lager I guess! A very pale, clear looking golden color. A pretty good sized head that did fizzle away pretty quickly but left some on top. The aroma is grassy, grainy, floral and a little fruity and not bad. This however isn’t a very good tasting beer. First of all the mouthfeel is thin and watery leaving me wanting a lot more. The flavor consists of mild hops but more grainy and grassy and an all around typical mass marketed below average lager taste. Except it wasn’t that cheap. I bought a single at a local store and compare to the other prices/quality they had this was a horrible deal. I think I may at least get to cross off another country. I’ll pound one if someone gives it to me but I won’t be buying this again. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA Apr 7, 2008 3-15-08 bottle
Bubbly watery yellow pour with weak watery head. Smell is light and doughy malt. Flavor is abundantly water - nothing much more to it. Thin palate. Overall, not actually too horrible - but then again it was like drinking a tall glass of water. WesKBob (320), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA Apr 7, 2008 Pours a clear gold with thin white head. Very faint aroma with some grassy scent to it. Flavor is light malt and grainy. Has a grassy flavor to it. Very thin and carbonated. Accepable as lagers go, but not anything to write home about. mmmbeer (737), Austin, Texas, USA Apr 4, 2008 Bottle in trade from Snojerk321, thanks! Bottle poured into lager glass- poured transparent very thin golden yellow, medium carbonation of small bubbles, thin white head bubbled away rather quickly. Aroma, if you could call it that, of weak malt. Hits the mouth with a watery thin body, a little malt, some sweetness in the middle and end, no hops to be found. Just another country to add... HughConway (364), Alabama, USA Apr 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with white head. Nothing distinctive about the taste or aroma, it’s your standard third world industrial lager.
