SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA Mar 4, 2008 A pretty standard macro lager. Perhaps the best thing I can say about it is that I just added a new country to my list! joe19612 (673), camberley, Surrey, England Mar 2, 2008 Bottle. Poured a golden colour with a large white head. The aroma is of sweet hops and a hint of grass. The taste is dry and crisp.
mjg74 (1995), La Mesa, California, USA Feb 26, 2008 Bottle from BevMo. Light golden in color upon pouring. Very sweet aroma. Grains and breadiness. Very grainy and sweet, some acidity. Not too good. mkobes (2103), paramus, New Jersey, USA Feb 13, 2008 Bottle. Pale yellow in color with a little white head. Crisp hoppy and malty aroma. Toasted grainy notes. Hoppy crisp flavor. Citrusy lemony notes. Thin bodied. Ok beer. Tenderstone (25), Renton, Washington, USA Jan 19, 2008 Updated: Mar 28, 2008Pours an uninspired pale yellow with a medium white head. Very light aroma of buiscut dough. Flavor is a wonderful cereal with a hint of apple. Palate is medium light, going down smooth and very drinkable. Could drink 2 or 3 without loosing interest. re rating this beer, as it has become of my favorite of the style. Doggythedog (1541), Split, Croatia Jan 14, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Papsoe (thanks!), shared with ozujsko. I guess that the bottle was a bit off, and I’ll rerate it as soon as I can. Poured a misty ochre colour with a thick white head that went away slow (!).. Stale nutty nose. Fruity, kinda berryish maltiness, tiny herbal-lemony hop profile, watery yet feals heavy, a touch of caramel if I stretch my imagination a bit and definitely a bit stale. Maybe it was a good thing that it was old. Had far worse beers. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jan 13, 2008 Very very fizzy and very very yellow. Sweet and grainy. Like bad apple juice. Hooray new country! Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Jan 10, 2008 Pours a pale, clear yellow with a sizable, loose, frothy, white head. This is, by far, the lightest colored beer that I’ve had in quite some time. The nose is a muted, sweet malt with a hint of apple and faint grassy hops. The palate is light-bodied and thin with soft carbonation and a lightly drying and somewhat metallic finish. This is certainly better than any macro lager that I’ve ever tried. The flavor is of sweet malt, without the "off" adjunct notes found in so many other pale lagers. It finishes quite cleanly without any lingering flavors. This is an easy-drinker that is certainly among the top tier of pale lagers that I’ve sampled, to date. At nearly two bucks a bottle, there are a lot of other beers that I’d rather invest my money on, but I wouldn’t turn one of these down if it were offered to me.
