Jul 25, 2007 light golden pour, small head, doesnt last very long. Nose is very grainy, with big notes of corn, grass. flavour is much of the same, quite grainy, with a hint of malt. Not much hops, but its refreshing, and quite smooth. A good lawnmower beer.

Some time later I was back at the liquor store talking about beer and the owner mentioned that the beer distributor had conned him into buying a case of Tusker, and that since then he had sold but one six-pack!

Comingfrom Kenya, I wasn’’t expecting much of this - thought it might just taste of dirty water, but it wasn’t half bad actually. Fairly sweetish and lacking a little kick, but not too bad - would need to be fairly cold to be enjoyable.

Jun 20, 2007 Bottle: My first taste of Africa. Very pale clear golden with a vanishing white head. Some light/sweet malt in the aroma, along with cardboard and canned corn. Very thin and light. Watery, stale/soggy pale malts. Some straw and a papery finish. Generic; possibly refreshing in the heat of Kenya.

Jun 13, 2007 I really wan’t expecting much from this beer, and I really didn’t get much. Pours a clear yellow with a thin froathy head. Aroma is really weak notes of grass and hops. The flavour is weak malts. The one thing I can say is that it’s refreshing, which makes sense considering its from africa. But thats all it is. Won’t buy this beer again.

Jun 12, 2007 Pale yellow pour. Thin quickly vanishing head. Grass and weak malt notes in the aroma. Very simple with not much going on in the flavor, but it works. Would be a good hot summer session beer. Refreshing.
