Clear yellow with generous head that leaves nice lace. Aroma is horrible: burnt toast, hay and no hops. Flavour doesnt’ bring much to the table: Just a grassy continuation of the aroma. Watery palate with some carbonation. I had high hopes for this one and it turned out to be horribilis maximus.

[096-20061105] 500mL. Dusty red meat aroma mixed with mushroom, light skunk and a bit of rotten fruit. Clear, light but deep yellow body with tiny bubbles throughout and a quick white head. Sweet, lightly yeasted bread flavouring. Smooth, light-medium body. Smell is complicated garbage but taste is not unpleasant.

Moderate malty aroma. Large frothy initial appearance. White head color. Fair lasing, mostly diminishing. Clear body. Body hue is pale yellow. Sweet light initial flavour. Palate light to medium.

Chilled 330ml bottle. Never tried a Kenyan beer before, but there’s a first for everything. Really odd aroma! Smells like tree bark and corn! Pale gold body with some whispy lace. Taste isn’t too bad considering; sweet honey-like malt beginning of a slightly watery body, a tiny hint of leafy hops, and a dry rice/corn finish. Nothing interesting here, but you could do alot worse!

Had never tried a beer from Kenya, so this was wroth it from that standpoint. However, it really was not much different from a BMC nmacro lager, except that it wasn’t quite so heavy on the graqin. Poured a sparkling golen yellow, with some carbonation, a thin head and okay lacing. Some hops in the aroma, but nothing dominant. Likewise with the flavor. Not too much on the mouthfeel or finish. Kenya is much better known for their long distance runners than for their beer, and Tusker beer illustrates why.

This beer is straw colored, with a light head of white foam. Little lacing. Mild vegetal aroma. Not a bad tasting beer, a little bit of sweet honeymalt, a little wheat, some kind of lemongrass flavor, and a gentle, floral hop presence. Light bodied, smooth, clean

Bottle. Yellow/golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hay. Flavour sweet, fruit, malt and a hint of hop. quite thin.

Pale yellow with very little foam at all. Looks like piss. Smells like Budweiser. Very watery, “It’s like if you cut Bud Light half and half with water,” – Brad. It’s hard to pinpoint any kind of taste at all. Mouthfeel is terrible. Bad beer in every sense.
