bottle: Got this one in the annual beer exchange.....pretty typical of beers from hot climates: pale, very drinkable, little character. etc......Pale yellow colour....slight malty finish....nothing to write home about.....probably not worth the risk of drinking a Kenyan product.

When this beer first came out it was a very clean distinctive enjoyable beer. However, lately since it has been so mass produced I have found its taste has disappeared.

A rather unremarkable mass produced tasting beer. But ... it’s from Kenya.

Bottle from the Cowley Road (Dodgy Deli). pale golden head that lasted throughout a sweet aroma, much too sweet tasting, soft edges to this and not that great really.

Straw colored beer out of the bottle with a fizzy white head and a light, sweet citrus nose. On its own, this is not a very interesting beer, with some buscuity malts and lemon mingled with cardboard and an odd metallic quality. It served its purpose as a quenching drink with my chili well enough.

A little white in another pale lager. Passable aroma. Light mouthfeel even a tad grainy rather than creamy and little taste. Macro type ale.A tad metallic mid-sip. Can drink it if thirsty.Fresh.More malty than bitter.Suitably carbonated. Passable overall rather than a standard macro.

A quickly diminishing head with consistent steady carbonation. I had three on a very hot day this summer, quite refreshing with a sweet finish. Stashed a few in the basement had em last week, ugh. sink beer. Freshness is certainly a factor. First impressions a factor in my rating.

Does not smell good at all. And frankly, doesn’t taste very good either. Funky and bad, it’s not real thin, just untasty. A new country for the list, but not a repeat.
