theisti (1640), Leawood, Kansas, USA Nov 27, 2006 Updated: Nov 28, 2006500 ml Bottle. Aroma was pure Budweiser to me. Taste, fortunately has a bit more smoothness to it. Nothing offensive in this one, not much flavor either. Weird factor of Kenya probably give this a couple of points for me. WARNING - DO NOT LET THIS BEER WARM UP. DruncanVeasey (2695), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England Nov 19, 2006 Unpleasantly briny, rusty baked bean tin nose. Some stale vegetable notes and cold bean sugariness coming through, but also an inoffensively malty graininess. Very watery and soft, but quite creamily bodied. I’m warming to it a little. But beers this bland just don’t work in the English winter. TheJester (694), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Nov 15, 2006 500 mL bottle. Quite pale in colour. Aroma of grain, citrus and yeast? Not bad, for a lager. Crisp. Only faint hints of corn and sugar(?) (until it warms). Finish has a touch of bitterness, but is mostly flat. eyesandsmiles (179), Mission Viejo, California, USA Nov 14, 2006 Nothing special. Found one in my fridge. Drank it. Forgot about it. Not entirely unpleasent. rederic (1787), montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 14, 2006 Bright yellow gold color, with a frothy white head, leaving laces, sweet corny nose, with a pale malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a mild sweet pale malt character, faint hay note, leading towards a crisp refreshing, subtle hops bitterness finish. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA Nov 4, 2006 Sweet malty aroma.
Flavor of corn and grass.
When I seen super cop jones with his flipped over car on the 60, I wish I would have had one of these beers to offer him...damn dude, that sucks, here have a Tusker! ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA Oct 22, 2006 500ml bottle. Pours out a bright yellow color with a small white head. Smell is sweet, apples, corn, wheat. Taste is similar, smooth and refreshing, fruity and full of corn and wheat. Pretty nice lager, not the best but its above budweiser. Pretty cool to have something from Kenya as well.. LyndaNova (492), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Oct 22, 2006 Cold 500ml bottle: Pours a clear golden yellow color with small alabaster bubbles mostly around the edges with some lacing. Aroma and taste are of sweet malt and hay with citrus and floral notes. Well carbonated. Crisp and refreshing. Sweet, floral ending.
