Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Oct 18, 2006 12 oz. Bottle. Aroma was skunky. Clear gold body color with white head. Flavor was like most swill with a decent balance of malt and barley, bitter hops. Discouraging part was the metalic finish to the beer. Another country added to the stats thanks to my wife the beer spotter. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Oct 15, 2006 Updated: Dec 18, 2008 Very refreshing on a hot day. It is slightly more watery than many lagers i’ve tried. This probably explains its refreshing taste. Great beer if you want to cool off in the summer. (I wonder how clean the waters of Nairobi are???) rw4244 (128), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Oct 15, 2006 Bottle, 50cl. Pale gold lager, good white head - standard looks. Almost no smell. faint sweetness.Very watery in taste perhpas a slight hint of hops/corn. A little herbal. No good. ogivlado (3036), Zagreb, Croatia Oct 9, 2006 Bottled(500ml). -Pale yellow coloured, small airy head, slight malty nose. Very weak malty aroma with corny and herbal notes, watery. Short bitter finish. thehinge (244), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Sep 29, 2006 Has a corny, yeasty aroma. Pour is gold colored......tons of carbonation and a white head. Nothing special about the taste.....sweet and corny malts with no hop bitterness. All I can say is why import this to the US??? We have plenty of bad lagers here already. The importers are wasting their time and efforts. ehhdayton (1113), USA Sep 28, 2006 The aroma and flavor are both grainy with an aftertaste that is wanting. The color is a light golden with a white head. DrnkMcDermott (1832), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Sep 25, 2006 Half-liter bottle. Yes, I bought just to cross off another country. Yes, it is urine coloured, a slightly hazy yellow, under a rocky head. Smell is corny, but that’s really the worst of it. Taste is mostly barley pop. Corny again, a bit too sweet. A pinch of bitterness rescues this from failure. Some dregs in the bottle. It’s a novelty beer. Marty1018 (2), cleveland, Tennessee, USA does not count Sep 9, 2006 You need to start with good water to make a good brew. After tasting Tusker, I don’t think Kenya has good water.
