Pours a clear pale yellow with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma of sweet and funky grain. Flavour has a weird sweet grainy taste along with some stale hops. Quite watery. This is not very good. tupalev (2611), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Faint honey aroma. Nothing. Nothing taste. Again, slightly honey sweet. Not good. Blah blah....But probably another new country. hughie (3050), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 8, 2006 Bright golden lager with a small white head. Interesting hoppy aroma. The taste is what one would expect: rather thin and lacking in bitterness. Not the worst ever lager. MrManning (1643), London, Ontario, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 29, 2006 LCBO bottle- Darker gold colour with an active white froth, that leaves in a hurry. Sweet grainy nose, with some hops, vegetables, and corn. Sweet hoppy vegetable flavours, with lingering bitterness. Not much to this one. Passed on it about 100 times, and decided to get it to giver er a whirl. sanmiguel (118), Illinois, USA

I saw this in several liquor stores in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, and a batch of this expired back in 2004! Tusker’s my first African beer. It had a grainy scent (whew!). Astringent, yet clean and refreshing finish. It’s an OK lager. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 17, 2006 From a 500ml. brown bottle with a best before date on the front label, Mar/2006. Made a good appearance, poured a chill hazy pale straw yellow with a large, rocky white head that settled into a thin, clingy bubbly lacing, moderate carbonation. Had a clean aroma, a sweet cracker maltiness and a light herbal hoppiness. A crisp, slick light bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability. Clean tasting as well, a sweet cracker grainy, a mellow herbal hop bitterness and a crisp, dry cracker finish.
