2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
From a bottle in a restaurant near Durban, South Africa. Not much in the way of an aroma. The beer had a slight bitterness, was a little sweet and with a hint of metal. However, taste didnt linger long, and served chilled, it was nice, far as thirst quenchers go. Far from the best or the worst African beer I have ever had.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Had to pick this up for the country tick. Pours a clear light gold body under a one finger fizzy white head that faded fairly quickly. The nose is a mix of corn and cooked veggies with a bit of pale bready malt. The flavor is pretty bland and boring with some watery pale malt and some light corn. Light bodied and fizzy with a short (thankfully) finish. Pretty basic and boring Pale Lager.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a bottle into a glass, pours a lively yellow which almost mirrors the yellow on the bottle’s label with a thin white head to top it off. It has a very light bitterness and is very refreshing due to very minimal lingering aftertastes. Really smooth after taste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I found this to be quite a nice little lager. Very refreshing light malt taste in the background and actually had some mouth feel compared to a lot of the other lagers I had, plus I had to have a beer from Kenya.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a quickly diminishing medium white head. Weak aromas of grain and malt. Flavor much the same. Watery, thin body. Pretty boring.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Rehills Newcastle at home. Reasonable lager. Decent head, dissipates quickly. Sweet in taste if a little metallic. Nothing special but a drinkable change from the standard supermarket shelf lagers.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear, golden color, topped with a very generous white head and nice retention.
The aroma is pretty easy to pick up - some malts and lots of grassy aroma. Not completely pleasant.
The taste is slightly sweet and grassy. There is some bitterness in the finish, although it leaves a slightly weird aftertaste.
Still drinkable enough to enjoy it.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Typical easy going, crisp & enjoyable pale lager. Smell is of grain with pale pour & thin white head and an adjunct after bite. Ahhh pale lagers so satisfying & easy to drink though I prefer a pale lager like stella which is cleaner, this one is ever so slightly dirty but still good.
