2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle @ BBF13. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Faint aroma of yeast and hops. Sweetish, malty flavour with bitter notes of hops and a good deal of yeast. Paperlike finish. Drinkable but just this.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12floz / 355ml bottle into a shaker. Served cold.
Aroma: Kind of sweetish bread. Very mild hop presence. But mostly itís just that bread-y malt.
Appearance: Crystal clear dark yellow body with a moderate, but dissipating, white head.
Taste: Kind of earthy. Mild malt. Mild bitterness. Not corny! No real adjunct-y taste! Granted itís no Bitburger, but itís a pretty decent lager!
Palate: Light bodied, but not watery. Pretty abrupt, malty finish.
Overall: Actually a pretty decent lager. Itís better than the American macro-trash. I wish it were more available here in the US.

Iím assuming most eat Africans have never had beer. After the pour Iím not sure I want to drink it. Thin, but not quit like a typical American lager. Darker than a coors light, Bud light, and Miller lite. Aroma is grass and hay.

Tickers gotta tick Kenya! Pours clear light yellow and makes Coors Light look like an imperial stout. No head. Smells like sweet honey and malt. Super light mouthfeel. Flavor is sweet honey and hay, clean finish. High carbonation. Honestly this isnít bad for a summer session beer. Easy drinking, sweet flavor. Take this over any US macro.

Hmm - a Kenyan lager.... got for the elephant bottle cap -12oz bottle. Pours a light gold with a minimal head. Nose has some light citrus. Flavor is like a Red Stripe for me with malts, lager yeast and a hint of grass.. Super light bodied with low carbonation. Decent stuff.

Pours a very clear and very pale yellow with a thick foamy white head. Aroma is very faint...light sweetness and straw. Flavor has light lemony notes and straw...touch of grass/spice. Mouthfeel is light...a bit watery with a tangy/grassy abrupt finish.

I tried this one at Disney Animal Kingdom. This is not a great beer but it really reminded me of the long lost Schmidts of Philadelphia - a beer flavor that imprinted in my mind in my teenage years when that was my dadís beer of choice. +++ Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy straw yellow color with a small foamy white head that faded and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was grainy and sour. The flavor was grain, sour and tangy with a hint of fruit and sugar. Medium length sour, tangy and grainy finish. Medium body.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
clear straw yellow color. No head, just a thin collar for head.
Nose is of sweet, stewed corn, cereal, malt and some boiled vegetables.
Watered down cereal taste. Some sweet corn and malts.
Very thin taste, light carbonation
Might be refreshing when listening to Toto, not in this case though.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma is mostly sweet grainy malt and corn. There is a medium low ester note and a slight sulfur character. No noticeable hop aroma.
Pours a clear, pale yellow gold with a fairly thin white head that quickly recedes to the edges where it lingers slightly. Light lacing and no legs.
Flavor starts with slight graininess and moderate to low corn note. Slightly sweet with low bitterness. Fairly clean, you can taste the water. Low fruit and floral esters and no hop flavor. Finish is very bland with only a slight sulfur and grain note. Way back of tongue there is a metallic twinge.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and very crisp with medium strong carbonation. Faint astringency and faint alcohol warmth. This is very watery.
Overall a bland boring beer even by American adjunct standards. Some of the sulfur notes that I get in American versions is missing which is nice, but the esters are too strong and the malt barely contributes any flavor; the hops contribute none.
