Gul i färgen med vitt skum. Doftar svagt av unken malt, gräs citrus, majs. Smakar söt malt majs unket, citrus. Inte bra.

8 feb 2013, bottle. Light yellow, clear, occasional bubbles. Nose is slightly stale straw. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Light lemonade, faint beery malt, faintest of lemon hops. Mild, crisp, slightly bitter. Rarer refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tusker Lager has a thick, foamy head, a clear, bubbly, straw appearance, some suspended white particles floating throughout, a thick, foamy head, and a some minimal lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of full, sweet, bready, barley malt, and the taste is of the same, with some grass, mild hop bitterness, subdued sugar, and a bit of steamed vegetable. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Tusker Lager finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, drinkable, and wonderful. Overall, this is a definitive lager beer, and I rate it most excellent. Great stuff! RJT

Pours a very light yellow color that is clear with a slight head. Very similar looking to Miller Lite. Scent has some slight grassy tones mixed with wheat. Taste is what you can expect from an adjunct lager. The taste reminds me a lot of Red Stripe and Red Dog. It does however have a little thicker texture and a quite crisp finish. I enjoyed trying a beer from a different country but this was a rather ordinary tasting beer.

Aroma of hay, light floral hops, some lemon and honey. Appearance is very light gold with thin, bubbly white head. Flavor matches the nose with very light floral bitterness, balanced by honey sweetness; the overall flavor impression is very, very light- this is obviously a thirst quencher. With that said, it’s a perfectly pleasant flavor, but rather delicate. Palate is light, thin and average. Many worse pale lagers than this on the shelves.

Very pale straw color. Sweet malt and grassy hops. Taste - sweet corn and floral malt. Mild bitterness. Pretty poor IMO.

Draught and bottle in Kenya. Similar to the export variety. Watery and and barely flavorful.

My first African beer. Smooth lager not much taste especially any notable ones. Good lager just very bland.

Bottle- Pours a pale yellow color with a small head with bits of lacing. Aroma is quite mild with just a bit of corn sweetness and not much else. Taste is quite bland with a bit of malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, just a bit of crispness and no flavor at all. A non-offensive beer that is bland and has no character.
