Dec 7, 2004 Herbal, lightly spicy hop nose is clean and refreshing. Clear golden colour with decent white head that recedes to thin cover and ring. Bland, watery and fairly flavourless. Vaguely sweet. Perhaps thirst-quenching on a hot day or after a spicy meal but not much for a tasting session. Bottle enjoyed with the ever-gracious muzzlehatch... Shucks Barry, thanks. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Dec 7, 2004 500 ml bottle provided by and shared with the ever-generous tiggmtl. Small herbal-hoppy nose...very light and clear...little flavor, bit of sweet honey-lemon, very clean (and un-skunked!) but dull and watery. The best Kenyan beer I’ve had yet!

Nov 25, 2004 Not bad; I was expecting a really crappy lager. It’s light, has some hops bitterness with a tinge of skunk, and there’s also some sort of fruity note as well.

Nov 24, 2004 Read in a beer book that this was interesting due to a lemony note to the taste. Bad book. Bad beer. Probably good if you’re baking under the hot sun in the wilds of Kenya and on the verge of dehydrating.

Nov 11, 2004 This was average, but for the price of it I should’ve gotten a lot more, it was just like a budweiser and way too pricey. It went down fine but I won’t get it again didn’t impress me at all.

Nov 4, 2004 Pours a pale gold color, decent tan head that quickly becomes rocky, fairly activ e carbonation. Aroma is sweet, light, and malty, very little hop presence. Flavor is pretty much the same as aroma, with a slight floral thing happening. Light and refreshing.

Nov 1, 2004 Big, blossoming, sturdy ,crackling head. Transparent, yellow hue. Aroma is fresh, floral, honeyish, zesty and uplifting. Taste is clean, light bodied, everything one expects from a decent lager. A bit like SingHa, actually. This must go down well in African heat, just as perfectly intelligent North American beer fans will quaff a Crud Light or Swiller Genuine Crap in the summertime.

Oct 31, 2004 Bottle at Pier 32. Poured a medium size white head, fair lacing, carbonated, transparent, and a yellow hue. Mild malt and hoppy aroma. Bland, boring malty thin flavor. Mouthfeel was slightly tingly. Light bodied beer. Unimpressive.
