| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 23, 2004 Straw color carbonated body topped with a decent and lasting foamy head. Weak malty/hoppy aroma with some floral hints. Boring watery/malty taste with a short bitter final. Smooth and refreshing, but not a graet beer. I like the label and the "Beer only" bottle. thedm (3834), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Oct 23, 2004 This bottled brew marked best before 4/04 from the Pier 32 restaurant in Hamilton, IN poured a very large sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. It was interesting to note that the medium sized bubbles soon go away leaving a very foamy long lasting finely sized white colored head that disappeared quickly after a few minutes. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and straw yellow in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild malty dough. Its mouth feel is smooth and malty with a lingering flat palate and a mild citrus malty aftertaste. Its flavor was overriddingly malty. pivo (2535), Germany
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 17, 2004 Light nose, but slightly farty; yellow color and a foamy head. Off, odd vegtable graininess. No bitter. Creamy, oily mouthfeel. All around pretty bad. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 4, 2004 Yellow. Astringent, sweet, maltiness of wet hay, honey and cereal while the hops are somewhat noble and showcase herbal and grassy qualities. Why, by golly, this isn’t that bad. I usually dread third world beers but this one has some redeeming qualities. It’s fairly clean, crisp and have a nice malty sweetness that isn’t cloying at all, in fact, it’s enjoyable. Still below average, but I could easily see myself enjoying this during an African Safari. gws57 (1137), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 1, 2004 Had this one bottled. It’s not nearly as bad as a 9th percentile. Nose is a little faint, somewhat malty; little head that dissipated quite rapidly. I, too, noticed that my bottle had "Beer Only" stamped into the side of it! zach8270 (2079), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 13, 2004 Updated: Dec 7, 2008[500 ml. bottle] Straw gold color with a very thin white head. Very light aroma, mostly grains and biscuit with a hint of malt. Flavor is rather soapy with a heavy yeast flavor and a touch of grasses and maybe some malts. Not much body or aftertaste. kujo9 (1077), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Sep 11, 2004 Bottle: Thin, short lived white head on a straw colored body. Light grainy malt aroma and that’s about it. Flavor is well balanced w/ a lightly sulfury yeast and hints of hop in the aftertaste. Prickly becomes biting higher carbonation, smooth if anything w/ a heavier light body. Not very exciting, and only minimally more exciting than a B/M/C product.
