1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. This beer commemorates the memory of the owner of Kenya Brewery, George Hurst, who died in 1923, the year after he founded the company. It is called Tusker because he was killed by a charging elephant during a hunt. Refreshing enough.

Another in the list of "I bought this based on the packaging" (my gf likes elephants.) Grassy hop notes and aroma. pale yellowy god colour, with little head. Would not buy again... to drink anyways.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Palate? What palate? My well water has more flavor than this beer. Wasn't much impressed with this beer, it had a slight fruity, sweet flavor that was gone before I swallowed. Though I suppose if you live in Kenya anything liquid and cold would be thirst quenching.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
I was at Spirit Haus in Amherst, MA last night, and i was like, "hey cool, a beer from Kenya!" Now i have to say up front that i didn't have hugely high expectations for this beer to begin with. I poured it and it had a huge frickin' head on it. so much so that at first i thought i had a glass full of foam, nothing else. then the foam decided to give me some beer. i kinda wish the foam had kept the beer. It had absolutely no taste. I had this outside by a fire late at night. it was almost pitch dark out and i could see through the beer clearly. i think the Kenyan army must look through glasses of this beer in darkness because of its night vision capibilities. The taste was reminiscent of...hmmm, it's somthing i've had before, oh yes, water. it was like i was looking at and tasting water. i thought elephants were supposed to never forget anything...the elephant on the front of the beer obviously forgot to put the beer in this water.

Light golden hue. Grassy grainy nose. Small, big bubbled, white head. Starts with pale malts, light body, finishing with a hint of hops, grassiness, and a weird sweetness.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Slightly off aroma, though the exp date was August 03, very pale light lager, with a white head that died quickly. Rather flavorless, and watery palate. Ok, I've had a beer from Kenya, so done that, dont have to do it again.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
A slightly grainy little international lager with little else to differentiate it aside from the label on the bottle.
