2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Very light gold color, medium head. Aroma is a little hoppy and something else..corn? A light tasting lager. Mild tasting, a little sweet and grassy. Slight hop bite. Not a good beer, but it at least drinkable. Mouthfeel is rather thin. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is neutral. Best Kenyan beer (1) I’ve tasted.

Orlando Beer Fest: Nearly clear, but crisp citrus malt is a surprisingly nice beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Like most tasters, first came across this whilst touring through Kenya. Was a welcome refreshing beer back then, so interesting to take a followup sample. Pours well, with a descent head. Rather pale in colour but has light hints of malt and hops. Basically an easy drinking lager. Surprised it still held itís flavour as did not expect it to travel well.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
My first beer from Africa! Ok, so this was an extreme light golden colour with a sugary taste to it. Minimal hop presence and underlying malt sweetness. A very thin and boring lager, but a thirst quencher for those hot African Safariís, I guess.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
very light yellow color. big bright white head and some lacing. Taste was somewhat thin, light sweet malts and a bit of hop. Neck band says "Bia Yangu Nchi Yangu" which could translate to "Way better than coors light!" And they care enough to put a "best by" date on the label. (7/03). Was just great with pizza.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. A light golden yellow with a foamy white head that hugged the glass. A nice citrus hop aroma with a little skunk. Smooth and easy to drink. A quality find for this type of beer.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
To be honest, I only drank this so I could get another country on my "beer stats". My sample was both skunky and stale, with a "cardboard" taste. Possibly an old sample, but I donít care enough to re-rate.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Light yellow and approaching clear. Bland and boring as it is mostly just malt. A touch of hops adds the slightest movement toward balance, but itís not really there. Smooth, but really, thatís it.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
probably the palest beer iíve ever seen..good initial carbonation, fades quickly..has a nice foamy head. surprisingly refreshing beer..although very light, sweet malty flavor with only a hint of discernible hop character.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very pale gold color like a pilsner with what I can only describe as a soapy white head. Faint malt sweetness on the nose. Mild bitterness with a slight woody and sweet flavor. Not all bad.
