Had this practically everyday in Kenya for over a month- much better than anything else in the bars out in the middle of nowhere besides Guinness Foreign Extra. I’ve found this in the US a handful of times but it is much different- pretty much tastes like straight up corn seltzer water. But I will rate the local version. 500 mL bottle. Pours a light yellow with a medium head that settles quickly. Lacing is not bad actually. Aroma is corn, sorghum, and a whiff of hops. Mouthfeel is watery. Taste is corn, sugar, and dirt or something. It may not be that terrific, but if you are in Kenya you are not allowed to leave without trying this. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Oct 17, 2008 33cl bottle. It poured a very pale yellow colour with a medium big foamy head that settled down fast in the glass. It has a very faint aroma of sweet corn. The flavour is thin and watery and tastes of corn that that has been soaked in sugar. It has a non-existant aftertaste. Stay away unless you really want to taste a beer from Kenya. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 16, 2008 Bottle (of course). This’ll be simple: Avoid this beer unless you (like I at the time) have some other reason to add a Kenyan beer to the fridge or a tasting menu. Smells like rotten grain and corn and taste like watered down rotten grain or corn. I’m a big fan of African spices but I wouldn’t do them the injustice of serving African spiced foods with this beer. Yes, it’s worse than our domestic pale lagers - well... maybe not worse than Keystone or Natural Light. NJBeerman013 (771), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Bottle. Pours a crystal clean golden in color, very small white head. The aroma is minimal with just a hint of malty sweetness. The flavoor is not much different with just a touch of grassy hops added to the party. It is a bit thin, light in body, but highly drinkable, ending in a clean finish. Rynoplasty (507), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 12, 2008 Pours golden with a large white head. Aroma is pale malt and a very small amount of head. Taste is almost all pale malt, not a terrible brew but nothing special. ScottB (73), Bristow, Virginia, USA

Slightly more flavor that Bud Light. Didn’t hate it, but not one I would buy even if it were available where I live.
