A mediocre pale lager. fizzy pale yellow with a thick head. zslighly sweet malt base with very light hopping. probably much better if drunk under a kenyan sun.

Pours clear pale straw with one finger of loose white head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is muted, grainy malt, light grassy and citrus hops. (3/10) Taste is moderate sweet, faint bitter. (3/10) Light watery body, moderate carbonation, off-dry crisp finish. (3/5) Not much to say about this - typical adjunct lager. Fizzy, yellow, and watery. (8/20)

Just bought it because I liked the elephant on the label. "Together forever" sounds to me more like the dictum on a gravestone. The beer is not strong enought to kill but its bitter and bland taste could bore someone to death. It looks good enought and i guess due to its watery texture it is good to satisfy one’s thirst, but that’s it.

Scopey (7869) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2015
Bottle at the Cotteridge Convention thanks to SarkyNortherner. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is muted, watery, paper, grainy and sweet dough. The taste is crisp, paper, light graininess, sweet dough and cereal with a short finish. Lightish body and fine carbonation. Mmmm paper... Pretty basic.
