Sam Adams lager glass. A: nonexistent. App: bright, light gold, one finger quickly dispersing, white head. T: sweet on the front, like water on the back- flavorless. P: bubbly and smooth. Bud light has more flavor and it is the most flavorless light beer out there.

Really sub par beer. Lacking in flavor but the best option in animal kingdom. Would never seek out.

The body very light and has a very pale straw color with very good clarity. Its head is bright white in color and made of a loose foam which light and quickly fades out. Light grain and clean wet straw notes are just noticeable in the modest light nose. As expected the body was light and thin with a very clean bready/cracker like pale malt. Hops added pale straw like flavor, balanced bitterness and a crisp finish. Underneath is just the very slightest hint of a white grape skin flavor note.

Not a great beer, but after a hot day on safari, it was nice and refreshing.

Pale golden pour with a small white head. Watery grain aromas. Flavor is watery malt. Not offensive, but nothing special either.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2014 Clear yellow pour with a nice 2 finger head. Aroma of sweet grass. A nice malty flavor with the faintest bit of bitterness. Overall it is an OK beer.

Beer from Kenya? Hmm...sweet, let’s do this. Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance was a nice looking clear yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. There was some light lacing that slid into the beer. The smell was basically a decent sweet corn. The taste was mainly sweet corn. On the palate, it sat about a light and was pretty sessionable. There was an extremely smooth carbonation about this. Overall, good pale lager worthy of having again.

Bottle at home from early backlog notes 07/08. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have grainy malts, corn, sweet, grass, a hint of earthy bitterness. The only redeeming quality was that it was cold. Pass.

I call them all eurolagers. Nothing special. Just a yellow thing in your glass.

From a bottle in a restaurant near Durban, South Africa. Not much in the way of an aroma. The beer had a slight bitterness, was a little sweet and with a hint of metal. However, taste didnt linger long, and served chilled, it was nice, far as thirst quenchers go. Far from the best or the worst African beer I have ever had.
