App.: Clear light golden with a fair white foam.
Aroma: Light buttery grain/cereal/corn, little else.
Palate: Medium-light body, medium carbonation.
Flav.: Mainly cereal/grain with some light apple juice and a little other fruitiness, no hops notes to speak of; dry with basically no bitterness.

Apr 6, 2007 For a pale lager, this brew is quite distinctive. The color was lighter than expected with a thin yet long lasting head. The aroma was a very pronounced and marvelous molasses. The taste was much the same, with little variation, although the grains show through toward the end. Other ratings seem to be all over the place on this one. I’d say it is excellent for the genre, but perhaps not everyone’s favorite. It certainly is not worse than Budweiser as some might suggest.

Sep 3, 2002 Overall not a bad brew. Very faint colored. Hint of malt in the nose, clean finish. Number 48 for me, Radek!

Sep 11, 2004 Bottle: Thin, short lived white head on a straw colored body. Light grainy malt aroma and that’s about it. Flavor is well balanced w/ a lightly sulfury yeast and hints of hop in the aftertaste. Prickly becomes biting higher carbonation, smooth if anything w/ a heavier light body. Not very exciting, and only minimally more exciting than a B/M/C product.

Nov 23, 2003 Clear golden with a nice foamy white head and a good bit of lacing. Nose is grassy and grainy. Light bodied with mild carbonation. Light in flavor, slightly sweet with an sour metallic off note. Drinkable but uninteresting aside from being made in Kenya.

Nov 25, 2004 Not bad; I was expecting a really crappy lager. It’s light, has some hops bitterness with a tinge of skunk, and there’s also some sort of fruity note as well.

Nov 11, 2004 This was average, but for the price of it I should’ve gotten a lot more, it was just like a budweiser and way too pricey. It went down fine but I won’t get it again didn’t impress me at all.

Jun 17, 2004 Clear golden color. FIzzy white head. Mild malty aroma. Some hops, but hardly. Malty flavor. Smooth and crisp! Not too bad. Better than what I expected. Bought this 500mL bottle at Total Wine in Manassas, VA.
