Looks like a lager, yellowish-gold, medium head with largish bubbles. Visible carbonation. Mild aromas masked by a papery sweetness, slightly weedy garden notes. Taste is light, not to sweet. Mineral and potatoe bread. Cleansing and somewhat tart on the back. A nice compliment to the savory foods served for dinner. The best Kenyan beer I've tried in Florida. hershiser2 (923), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Grassy and skunky scent (brown bottle and still skunky). I guess it's supposed to be there.
Very average taste... just tastes like beer without any other dominant flavors creeping through.
Good mouthfeel... really, it is.
A good session beer candidate. Very easy to drink.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 5, 2006 Clear light yellow lager color. The aroma was hoppier and sweeter than expected for a pale lager. A light to medium body that could be considered heavy for a PL. So far, the best Pale Lager I’ve ahd. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 15, 2006 500 mL bottle. Quite pale in colour. Aroma of grain, citrus and yeast? Not bad, for a lager. Crisp. Only faint hints of corn and sugar(?) (until it warms). Finish has a touch of bitterness, but is mostly flat. Crafty07 (398), Florence, Kentucky, USA

The problem is, this style of beer has the least amount of taste you can have in a non-American lite beer.
It’s a bit more carbonated and finishes a bit better than most.
Low rating from ratebeer...why am I not surprised? BustedFlat (554), Edina, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 3, 2007 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass, pale golden with a medium, quickly diminishing head. Aroma was of grain and malt. Flavor was dominated by light sweet malt, which fades a bit midway through the glass. I’m not a big fan of pale lager, but you have to try a beer from Kenya if you get the chance. I was pleasantly surprised.

It smells of apples and is very light bodied. It feels very delecate in your mouth like champaign. Overall a nice change of pace and a great hot weather beer.
