I think this beer is getting a bad wrap from most of the posters. I find that it is extremely refreshing and quite satsifying. There is not one specific thing that stands out to emphasize this beer as a premium lager, however, it does have a great taste, and the last time I checked, taste in a beer is the most important thing! Try this on eon a hot summer day and you will enjoy the refreshing taste of Tusker.

Oh wow, Kenyan beer! I doubt it was the Kenyan’s who came up with the idea, though. Some German aristocrat bastard thought he would make some extra money. Turns out a elephant gored him to death, so they named this brew after him. Good job!

I have to admit, this is the first Kenyan beer that I have ever had and I was pretty impressed. This is a refreshing lager that has a very clean taste, and I usually only drink stouts, ales, porters and bitters but I like this.

Orlando Beer Fest: Nearly clear, but crisp citrus malt is a surprisingly nice beer.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2007 This is quite pleasant, against my expectations at finding a box of Kenyan lager on the floor of Bottle Barn. It is golden, bubbly at 1st, with a moderate, bubbly white head that dissipates fairly quickly. The aroma is mild, being bread dough with a hint of lemon/citrus. The tate is mild malt with plenty of grain, a hint of bitterness and a mild but pleasant, lingering flowery aftertaste. It is a bit watery and fizzy but still has a lively palate and makes up for the defects in flavour and aroma. It’s very pleasant and refreshing and would be great in hot weather.

Pours bright gold into a shaker. Bright white micro head with excellent retention leaves whipped cream spot lacing. Bread and biscuit aromas. Soft and sweet caramel with a crisp biscuity finish. C’mon it’s crisp and refreshing and 80 degrees...
