2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 crizay (1050) - Brook Park, Ohio, USA - NOV 11, 2004
This was average, but for the price of it I should’ve gotten a lot more, it was just like a budweiser and way too pricey. It went down fine but I won’t get it again didn’t impress me at all.

Very light gold color, medium head. Aroma is a little hoppy and something else..corn? A light tasting lager. Mild tasting, a little sweet and grassy. Slight hop bite. Not a good beer, but it at least drinkable. Mouthfeel is rather thin. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is neutral. Best Kenyan beer (1) I’ve tasted.

Straw colored. A little bit of carbonation. Typical hot-climate lager flavor. Like Dogbrick said, one of those beers that tastes good when you are in the country that it is brewed in, but not elsewhere.

(bottle - 1 month out of date) Pale straw with white head, some lace. Fairly crisp lager with hint of hops flavor with slightly sweet finish. Would be a good beer to have ice cold on a hot day.

Bottle. Pours light golden with a thin white head that left some lacing. Aroma is fairly typical American Standard, malty/hoppy/skunky, but not a lot of adjunct pollution. Flavor is decent but unremarkable, pretty clean with a lingering tart hop finish. Light body and mildly carbonated. Not bad for a country more known for it's coffee.

Pours a three finger white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Clear pale amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Slight skunky nose. Starts sweet, hops are hidden, not an American lager, sweet corn finish, would make a good lawn mower beer. $1.95 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Had this beer at the Disney Animal Kingdom lodge. I guess keeping with the animal theme of the lodge and the surrounding park they felt compelled to allow the guests to sample what the animals get to drink.

Has a nice head that sticks around. Pale straw color, malty aroma, a little hay and bread. A bit of bitterness and some sweetness. A trace of skunk (hey it came all the way from Africa to Wisconsin!). Not much on the tongue. Not as bad as some have said. Better than US macros.
