COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in Kenya since 1922. Medium alcohol beer that is a favorite choice for many occasions.

Pours a clear pale yellow colour with a frothy white head. Aroma is of grainy malts and earthy straw scents. Taste is fairly average; slightly sweet, a little malty not too bitter. Light body, thin mouth feel with a crisp finish. Overall decent at best.

Bottled from Bierzwerg. Light gold with medium white head. Aroma, grain. Taste, very sweet, little perfumed. Well, African beer I don’t drink every day, but anyway nothing special.

Small, white head. Very grapefruity on the nose, but the taste is more pearish with a dry finish. Very thin and watery, unremarkable except for the fact that it would be easy to pound five or ten of these like its water.

I just found East Africa’s version of Bud Light. Bland taste but it is refreshing. Not what I was hoping when I bought this beer.

Bought it for the Kenyan rating. Now I got it. High carbonation. Clear gold pour, white head. Smells likes corn, straw, sweet maltiness. Pretty flavourless. More of that corn syrup malt flavour, not much detectable hop backbone. Little bit soapy aftertaste. Not offensive. Just about as standard as a lager comes. No worse or better than bud. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle of 50 cl, light golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of light malt and corn. The taste is fairly sweet with notes of grain and tits. No bitterness felt in taste or aftertaste

Nose isnt bad, light herbally, lagery. Then taste, damn it. Had to drink it. Very metallic. Copper. Iron. Thats it. Might be a drain pour. Metallic Notes leave after 10 min, nothing replaces it.

Light yellow and approaching clear. Bland and boring as it is mostly just malt. A touch of hops adds the slightest movement toward balance, but it’s not really there. Smooth, but really, that’s it.
