| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 6, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Clean pale malt aroma, seems a bit dusty, and very, very light grassy hop. Pale brassy gold color with a white head that quickly diminished. Medium body; mild, sort of fizzy, carbonation. The flavor is light sweet malt, with some non-grassy, only slightly bitter hop. But in the finish the malt goes a bit veg, and the hop goes a bit bitter. Rather dry finish. Overall the mouth stood up and took notice. AxeMaster221 (343), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 14, 2003 Slightly off aroma, though the exp date was August 03, very pale light lager, with a white head that died quickly. Rather flavorless, and watery palate. Ok, I've had a beer from Kenya, so done that, dont have to do it again. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 7, 2007 I’d like to say this was "elephantastic," but that’s not the case. Mostly inoffensive, foreign macro-style, sweetish and somewhat floral light-tasting lager with a green apple presence. Thin and not very interesting. Then again, pale lagers = the most overcrowded and dismally boring beer style on this goddamn planet, so what do you expect? Aggie80 (713), Michigan, USA

Tasted pretty good after spending the day running around in the hot African sun. Pretty weak, which given the heat, was probably a good thing. I might try one again, but wouldn’t go back to Kenya for the beer! My records show May of ’84 for this one!
