Very faint spice aroma, strangely - brought to mind walking past the Taj Stores in Brick Lane. Appearance almost unnaturally gold/yellow. Very thin taste with the faintest hint of malt. Not much flavour to be savoured. Refreshing, but then so is water.

Pours a clear golden with a sticky dense white foamy sudsy froth. Aroma is malty and sweet, some apple, a bit herbal. Flavor is also very malty, apple, pretty clean actually, a bit floral/herbal, crisp, dry finish. Medium/light bodied, again heavy water feel but much cleaner and crisper this time. This is actually pretty good and quite drinkable. 50yroldbeerguy (5), British Columbia, Canada does not count | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2009 after a long day of hard and sweaty yard work, nothing taste better than a frosty, cold, refreshing, average Tusker Lager. App.: Clear light golden with a fair white foam.
Aroma: Light buttery grain/cereal/corn, little else.
Palate: Medium-light body, medium carbonation.
Flav.: Mainly cereal/grain with some light apple juice and a little other fruitiness, no hops notes to speak of; dry with basically no bitterness.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Poured from the bottle a light yellow, with a huge, fizzy white head that lasted and had good lacing. The only really discernable aroma was moderate yeast and the taste was similar with a watery feel in the mouth. It might be refreshing after mowing the lawn, but even then I can think of many better alternatives. Cirrhosis (624), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Light piss yellow with hints of brown the cap is actually think and long lasting with lots of bubbles floating to the top, wasn’t expecting that. Stinks of musty wet basement with sweet malts and some very mild hops where noticed. Beer is is actually very drinkable sweet light and malty with just a hint of a bitter finish. Some elements of Euro skunk do show up. Lemony grass after taste. Better than I thought it would be. popery (207), San Francisco, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 20, 2009 This beer is bland and boring but better than most macro lagers. It’s a dull yelllow beer, clear as a bell, with a thin white, dissipating head. My new SN Hop Tulip is actually keeping some head on the beer. The aroma is sweet and simple but without any real fault. The flavor is a lemony sugar malt. It’s a quite refreshing beer. I’d certainly be happier with this beer than most in the style.
