3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured into a pint glass. Clear, straw color with a half finger of white head that held pretty well for this style. Good lacing.
Smells like corn husks and cotton candy.
Watery taste, mildest bitterness, ends a little sweet.
Crisp texture, light body, moderate carbonation. Fits the bill style-wise.
Maybe I havenít had an adjunct lager in awhile but this was a decent drink. No off-flavors or bad smell.

Bottle a gift from Blade86 (Thanks). Clear golden color, white fast falling foam. Medium to high carbonati,on, soft body. Aroma: Sweet malty, a bit caramel. Taste: Malty with minimal unpleasant bitterness in short finish, imbalanced between to high sweetness, maltiness and bitterness. Another boring Pale Lager.

Whereas Tusker normally comes in 500mL brown bottles, this came in 12oz green bottles when I worked in Kenya. The alcohol on this is a bit higher than normal Tusker and doesnít have corn added as an adjunct. Still, it is slightly more alcoholic in taste when served warm with typical sweetness abounding. Still seltzer palate and essentially no bitterness. Mild grass, lemon, soda, honey. It is certainly not bad like Senator, but usually more expensive for 12oz than a 500mL of Tusker or Safari. Safari being even better and cheaper than Tusker in Maasailand, Kenya.
