On tap at TBC a few weeks back. Probably the most disappointing beer of the day. Poured a dark brown color with a smallish head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt and chalk. Flavor had a lot of caramel and roasted malt, but it just wasn’t that great for me.

OC tour, tap at brewpub: Deep brown with small head and minimal lace, a bit oily. The aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, hazelnut, charred malt, plum and anise. The taste is your standard fare of coffee, chocolate, nut, mild fruit with a light grassy bitterness. The feel is lively and chalky. A good brew and drinkable.
