Draught @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 11.01.2010
Aroma is slightly sweet with malty notes, roastiness and licorice. Flavour has roasted malts, some chocolate, coffee, ripe fruits and Belgian yeast. Not the most typical dubbel and actually close to a stout. Smoke is hardly observable.

(Draught@Tuulensuu, sampled 2010-03-20) Very dark amber with a small, lasting, beige head. Strongly smoky nose with roastiness and some dark fruit. Smoked maltiness also dominates the flavor, with the abbey part sweeped into the background. Oat brings nice rounded and velvety fullness to the flavor, but there’s also some roastiness present. Maybe not quite what this was supposed to be, but very good still.

Keg (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
7 Initially gentle smoked aroma, but fills in with more smoke and more roast as it warms.
4 Deep redy brown, tiny beige head
8 Sweet roastm malts, a bit burnt and earthy, and with some dry smoky tones
4 Smooth rich palate, carbonation a touch sharp.
15 Interesting combination, and brillianly crafted. Not particularly big and clever, but everything slots together well

Draught @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Finland. A pretty average smoked beer, hints of belgian style freshness and roastness in the taste.

Near black colored with red hints, little beige head. Chocolaty aroma with creamy, even stoutish notes, mild smoke and thin hops also come up. Flavor is also dominated by chocolate, convenient smoke also comes up. Aftertaste dries with some perfumy note and drying hops, some yeasty note also here.
