CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 15, 2009 On tap Jan 2008: Pours an opaque black with a wispy light brown head. Rich roasty, earthy coffee and dark chocolate nose. Starts with a mild earthy sweetness and big roasty smoky notes with a bittersweet dark chocolate finish with lingering coffee character. Very roasty throughout, a pretty good coffee stout. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Updated: Jan 12, 2008Date: 02/18/2007

black, fine tan head, streaks of lace,
huge coffee aroma bordering on being ashy,
creamy body,
all roasted coffee and espresso flavor, nice bitterness that is not overdone considering all of the coffee character, the coffee flavor stays strong through warming, a touch of chocolate shows up but is lost to the coffee,
eventually turns into a very creamy coffee stout
