Twains Desired Affliction Coffee Stout

On tap Jan 2008: Pours an opaque black with a wispy light brown head. Rich roasty, earthy coffee and dark chocolate nose. Starts with a mild earthy sweetness and big roasty smoky notes with a bittersweet dark chocolate finish with lingering coffee character. Very roasty throughout, a pretty good coffee stout.

black, fine tan head, streaks of lace, huge coffee aroma bordering on being ashy, creamy body, all roasted coffee and espresso flavor, nice bitterness that is not overdone considering all of the coffee character, the coffee flavor stays strong through warming, a touch of chocolate shows up but is lost to the coffee, eventually turns into a very creamy coffee stout

huge espressso and dark chocolate aroma, huge coffee flavor, lots of bitter dark chocolate character, age has been very good to this beer to even out the rough edges and blend the flavors,

Dark and oily with a fluffy brown head. Lots of coffee notes. Some chocolate and some sourness in the finish.
