On tap at Twain’s. Pours light golden amber with a white head. Aromas of toasted and bready malts, light hop citrus, and some caramel sweetness. Flavors of sweet and bready malts, light hops presence, and some caramel. Did not get any of the Galaxy hop notes I was looking forl.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep orange to amber with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty and light breadish. Roasted malty, bitter, medium sweet caramelish. Lingering malty toasted into the finish.

Appearance: Golden-amber body in hue, fairly clear, with a slight, white head depositing a light lacing on the descent.
Smell: Earthy, floral, faintly lemon-hinted hops ahead of the toasty, caramelly malts.
Taste: Toasted breadcrusts with a likable caramelized element to it. Medium-light sweetness. Earthy, lemony, lightly herbal hops with a moderate amount of bitterness. Drying, floral-lemon finish with still a slight undertone of earthiness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied (barely). Medium carbonation.
Overall: A pleasing, balanced, refreshing amber ale.

Cask @ ACAT - Pours amber with minimal head. Taste was smooth maltiness, but agressive citrus hops. Lots of hops coming throughout the lasting bitter finish. This was one of the better Ambers I have ever had. Well done Twains.

Cask at ACAT. Pours a clear golden amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light citrus hop notes with a touch of grapefruit and a sweet grain backing. Flavor a light grain backbone with some light citrus and a bit of pine. Drinks well.

A little nitty and caramel sweet. Smooth and entirely too easy to drink. Nice seasionable beer.
