3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the pub. Pours a semi cloudy dark brown with a slight red hue and a thin gray head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has an interesting combination of sweetness and tartness with a bit of underlying bourbon. Flavor starts with bourbon and sourness that has a bit more sweetness driven by dark grains in the finish. A touch thin.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the pub. Decent bourbon and vanilla flavors that are well placed and not overpowering. A little bit of wood working as well. Pour is dark and almost black. The vanilla dominates but you can get some red fruit from the base beer sneaking through. Smooth palate and medium bodied. Would have expected a little more malt presence but the barrel treatment works well for this one.
