Tap at the brewpup in summer 2011. Greenish lemon that’s very hazy with a pure white head. Light banana, hay, and some sweetness in the aroma. Flavor is grassy, a little sour, small banana and citrus. Medium body.

Draft. Rating from crappy notes. Pours a cloudy yellow. Clove, lemon zest and a bit of banana on the nose. Taste is a refreshing citrus and spice. Quite nice.

Fairly clear gold. Good banana on the nose, but this may be a little crisp for the style. Drinkable though.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Shag (2445) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aroma is lemons, bananas, and bready notes. The flavor contains banana, lemons, and biscuit. Aftertaste is slightly sour. Overall a pretty good beer and it helped wash the taste out of my mouth from the Stubborn River.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jsh12bama (681) - Alabama, USA - JUN 30, 2010
Pours hazy golden with thin white head. Aroma of bananas and wheat. Taste of the same. Not my style making it hard to drink.

On tap at the brewpub. Pour is a nice bright opaque yellow. Decent aroma of hay and toasty grain. Flavor is much the same. It is the body here that I notice the most or rather the lack thereof. Seems like it could have used just a bit more malt to get the watered down aspect out of this thing. A pretty enjoyable drink for this time of year with a slight banana flavor and the requisite wheat malt presence. Just not enough of that presence.

Tap at the brewpub in late May 2008: Pours a cloudy dark golden orange with a well-lacing froth of white head. Has a doughy Bavarian yeasty nose with some clove spice and semi-sweet malted wheat. Body starts fairly full and wheaty sweet with a light fruity banana estery component and lots of clove character along with some drier lemon zest notes before a crisp bittersweet finish. Pretty true to style and enjoyable.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Cybercat (2518) - Georgia, USA - AUG 17, 2008
Comes out of the tap an opaque pale orangy-gold. Rich aroma is mainly wheaty with some malty component and a strong orange overtone. Flavor is very smooth and refreshing, wheaty and malty, with a strong orange component just like the aroma. Finish is very smooth and satisfying.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 alexanderj (3081) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUL 8, 2008
ON tap at Twains; color was a dark, ruddy gold; lacing. Aroma of musty wheat with not much spice. Flavor was a bit off for me; too much earthy and musty elements. Some banana elements tried to peak through, but weren’t as pronounced for my liking. Not much spice, which was fine. It was just ok for me.
