0.25 l bottle, best before September 2016, thanks Secret Sint! Clear, dark brownish red with a thin, foamy, almost stable, tan head. Sweetish-malty aroma of brown sugar, molasses, toffee and nuts. Sweet, malty taste of brown sugar, caramel and nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally metallic finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Very simple bock, rather sweet, like a Dutch Oud Bruin or a Malzbier.

Served into a small snifter, ABV 6.5% Brown coloured body, small and somewhat thin light beige head, with good retention though, leaving light lacing behind. Aroma has caramel, malts, light straw, sugar. Taste of caramel and straw, sweet, red fruits, with some metallic notes for the most part. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Medium thin body, good carbonation. An average one.
