chriso (4683), London, Greater London, England Mar 27, 2007 Cask (gravity dispense), Ealing Beer Festival, May 2006. Clear gold colour. Very pungent herbaceous, juicy, floral hop aroma. US hops are obvious in the big grapefruit rush on the palate. Bags of flavour. Quite sharp and bitter, but backed up by juicy fruit and light biscuity malt. Excellent. Almost APA in character.

Fruit and malt aromas. Golden coloured floral and strong in alcohol with a little dryness in a crisp and bitter full malt finish. reakt (938), Greater London, England Jul 9, 2009 Handpull @ ’Sporks, Crosse Keys. Pale amber with a thin white head. Extremely sweet malty nose with a little citrus hop beneath. Offensively sweet and cloying but has a nice bitter finish. Way too sweet for my taste, I couldn’t even finish a half. bman1986 (142), Broadstairs, Kent, England Sep 9, 2008 Cask at SIBA beer festival, Kent: Amber coloured beer. Very sweet but not overly cloying. Hides it’s strength extremely well. Lots of citrus with a nice amount of hops. Yeah, good beer. oh6gdx (8802), Vasa, Finland Aug 21, 2008 Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is nectar, sweet fruits, mildly acidic citrusfruity notes as well as apricot and wood. Flavour is wood, acidic fruitys and quite much puke... Not very pleasant in the flavour. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 15, 2008 Draught. Low white fluffy and quickly disappearing off-white head. Clear golden body. Acidic lemon aroma and flavor with little hops bitternes. Low carbonation and a short aftertaste. KimJohansen (6676), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 8, 2008 Clear golden with tiny white head. Sweet aroma with with citric, piney and hoppy notes. Sweet and hoppy flavor with caramel , citric and pine notes. Ends bitter. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England Dec 26, 2007 Cask at The Bricklayer’s Arms, Putney, 29th Sept 2007. Very slightly hazy gold appearance. Aroma of caramel and butterscotch which carries over into the flavour - it’s sweet butterscotch and toffee. The characteristic slickness of diacetyl is evident in the palate (along with alcoholic warmth) and overall, I found it distastefully sweet and sickly. Given the other ratings, I probably got a bad barrel and will try it again. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Sep 6, 2007 Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon, light malty, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration and a nice balance. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
