Cask @ The Duke Of Clarence. Medium gold, small frothy head. Pretty faint in the nose. Some hints of brioche, white grape, taffy, caramel. The taste is moderately floral. Hints of grassy hops, wild herb. A bit of white grape and summery apricot spread. Light citrus. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall, a pretty agreeable beer. Nice.

Not much smell. Pleasing taste, if largely unremarkable. Some bitterness, some malt, slightly grassy, one could easily have a few pints.

The foam tries to get out of the bottle but didn’t manage to do so. In the glass the head is huge and white. The beer itself is sunset yellow/orange. It has a yeasty and sour aroma. And yes, the flavor has a sour component in it. Yet I’m glad that it doesn’t remind you of your stomach acids. It has sweetness in it and some flowery notes. Bitterness is quite sharp and strong. Quite a complex beer. Didn’t expect this to be so interesting. I would give this beer a better rating if I liked sour beers more.

App......light orange/yellow colour. Tiny white head not lasting.
Aroma..... citrus, herb and fruits with notes of hopes
Taste.....herbal, grass and a little bit of roast with a bitter finish.
Mouthfeel.......refreshing in mouth, medium body with low carbonation.
Long lasting in mouth
Overall......well balanced, with personality, bitterness appears at the right time and continues in mouth. To revisit.

Aroma is quite light with some fruity hops. Flavour is rather hoppy with fruits, apricot, some resin and gooseberry bush. Hoppy and nice!

Served via cask dispense into a UK pint glass at the Fox, Twickenham, (Feb ’12)
Pours a clear golden colour with a small white frothy head.
The aroma is of mild hops with a touch of citrus and pine in the background.
On the palate, a bitter tasting beer with citrus fruit coming across, a little orange, lemon and perhaps grapefruit and also a grassy flavour - all fairly muted and not in your face.
Mouthfeel was a little watery for my liking but finished with a good bitter dry taste.
An OK beer, would re-visit no qualms, but there are better beers out there!

Cask - The Harp, London. Poured a clear amber with a fine but lasting & lacy creamy white head. Light to mid fruits on the nose backed by some caramel & pale malt sweetness. Caramel, yeast, bread & grassy hops on the tongue. Soft on the palate with a mild spritz, light to medium body, finished with a medium length, low intensity bitterness. Fairly standard but the quaffability is good.
