Cask; Seasonal.
Outstanding hoppy beer using Pilgrim and Styrian Goldings for full-flavoured satisfaction. Good body and luscious aroma. Inspired by the statues of water nymphs in York House gardens in Twickenham, known locally as the "Naked Ladies".

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy and fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of gooseberry. Taste is strawy, slightly bitter hoppy, a fruity touch of gooseberry. Unspectacular.

On cask. Appearance: golden orange, thick proud white head. Aroma: pungent grassy hops, a little marijuana too. Flavour: bitter grassy hops, quite a nice sharp bitterness, quite simple and quite good.

Cask at jdw tower bridge. Hazed golden pour with a lasting loose white head. Suptle nitty malt and English yeast eaters in the aroma. Flavour is standard English summer ale, bisvuity malt grassy hop with a solid bitterness. Medium light body. Decent.

Cask at 'spoons, Streatham. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Not a massive aroma, but there are sweet floral notes there alongside some biscuit. Light body, mild carbonation. Orange, a hint of caramel, elderflower, the faintest hint of whisky, a bit of grapefruit bitterness to finish. A touch thin but OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at the Queens Head. The nose is dough, grain, toasted grass and honeysuckle. The taste is crisp, doughy, toasty, grass, floral, white grape skin, citrus peel and decent bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A very drinkable, clean golden ale.

Tap at Crown & Anchor Brixton. Nothing to write home about but it does the job if you’re after this kind of thing. Just a plain old simple golden ale with some light hoppiness to it. Clean and quaffable
