COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A ruby coloured, malty best bitter. Maris Otter pale malt combined with crystal malt, caramalt, and a touch of chocolate malt gives this lush, malty ale a reddish brown hue. A light touch with Pilgrim, Mount Hood and Bramling Cross hops allows the rich, full flavour to shine through.

Half, cask, at The Cross Keys in Covent Garden. Crystal clear, copper-amber body with just a bubbly ring around the rim of the glass. Modest malt-fruity aroma. Mild resinous hops in flavour supported by earthy malts. Bitter hints to the finish. Very average for the style (London, 02.08.2009) (no.2470).
