Osprey87 (1578) - WALES - FEB 28, 2014
Cask at the Duke Richmond. More golden orange than red, hazy, still, foamy white head, nice full white lacing. Aroma is musty wet cardboard, British hops. Body is smooth as you like, big for the style and carbonation is low. Taste - more musty cardboard, buttery malts, soft bitterness without much astringency. A classic example of a British bitter. Easily quaffed, well balanced and satisfying.
