Cask; Seasonal - Summer.
Previously known as Hornet

Very pale, very hoppy beer with an excellent flavour. Extra pale ale malt and wheat malt combine with aromatic, flavourful hops to make a very refreshing, quaffable pint.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Clear yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweet, a hint of citrus, slightly hops, quite bitter. Average body and carbonation. Decent.

Cask @ White Horse, Parsons Green. Pours clear gold with doughy straw nose. Taste is floral hops, lemon, straw and some grassiness. Moderately sweet with bitter finish. Nice.

Cask at The Columbia Press (JDW), Watford on 23 June. Poured a pale golden colour, with a thin white head and some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, bready malt and some floral hops. Grassy hop flavours, with some passionfruit sweetness and rye. Finish was hop resin, peal and grain.

Served in pint glass A: golden, clear, small head, decent retention. S: hoppy, hint of apple. T: All the pale ale fruityness grapefruit plus other citrus slightly watery Long bitter fin. M smooth mod carb, slightly heavy. Standard epa nice summery ale, bit strong to session, not as much character as some lower abv beers.

Gravity @ Wandsworth Common BF 2013. The pour’s gold with a small head. The nose is honey, piss, a bit of manure, earthy pasture. The taste is lemon meringue. Grassy hoppiness. Wood. Nice, punchy stuff. Light body, fine carbonation. Overall, very good.
