Cask; Regular.
A crisp and hoppy session bitter. Amber malt provides a pleasant biscuity edge to this pale golden-coloured ale. A blend of English and American hops add a wonderfully floral and citrus-like, long dry finish. Silver Medal in the Bitters category at the Great British Beer Silver award in the Bitter category at Great British Beer Festival 2007.

Golden with a fine white head, the aroma is pine, citrus and sweet malt. On the palate it is initially sweet with floral hops, then an astringent bitterness cuts through to give a crispness that balances the malt and results in a long dry-bitter finish.

Cask. At The Old Fountain. Clear light amber pour with a smallish off-white head. Simple yet deeply appealing aroma - fresh grassy/floral bitterness and very light, not too sweet golden ale maltiness. The taste delivered - refreshing, pungently bitter, but restrained and no alcohol character at all - a beer to drink multiple pints of on a warm day and people watch. Light, crisp, dry body, long floral finish, no aftertaste. A remarkably well-crafted beer, thanks for the "steer" Ang!

Cask @ The Fox in Twickenham A honey looking beer with a thin white film of head. Aromas of waxy, green foliage abound, complimented in a way by light cereal and honey notes. Very metallic in the mouth and also very sweet the source of this is undeniably the malts. It has a good oily body to it. Drinkable with a reasonable balance of bitterness and sweetness though it is awfully bland. There is definitely something off putting here.

Clear, blond body. Off-white, fizzy head. Looks like low carbonated beer. Nice aroma of strong hops and fruit. Moderately bitter initial flavour. Dry, heavily bitter finish of cascade. Good, steady beer.

[Cask, gravity dispense, at Heathrow Beer Festival 2008.] Pale gold with a ring of white head; pine resin and citrus aromas; sharp citrus taste with a hint of lime; chewy biscuity malts; grapefruit finish. Excellent.
