Commercial Description:
Tweeds Tavern Stout is named after the historic Tweeds Tavern, which was the first tavern in the first state. This tiny inn provided a favorite meeting place for early American farmers and ship-owners to meet and do business. A Stout was brewed on the premises which the patrons enjoyed. There is currently a state park on the location. To honor this history Twin Lakes now brews an American Stout fashioned in the pacific northwest style. Tweeds Tavern Stout is a truely delicious drinkable dark beer.

On tap at the brewery! By far their best beer. Dark in color, big tan head. Flavor is fresh roasted malts. There is nothing better then a fresh stout. This hit the "spot". Simple but good stout!

On tap-at the brewery. Poured black w/no head. Had a little more hops than your typical stout. Not sweet like some, more of a smoked flavor. Somewhat dry, could have stood a little more sweetness or chocolate flavor. Did get some traces of coffee. Not bad, but left me wanting more, seemed a lillte bit off from being a really great stout.

Decent flavor. Little head. I would have liked nitrogenation but the brewery isn’t equipped for that. This is a run of the mill micro brew stout

Tap at the brewery. Opaque black with no head. Flavor is a nice, hoppy combo of chocolate and coffee flavors, with some sweetness evident. Finish is dry with more sweetness. Even my fiancee liked it!
