Bottle. Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Slow gusher, which wasnít expected! Lear, dark red. Loads of lumps. Thin, bubbly, tan head. Mild malts. Cherry stone. Light roast. Taste is woody, and ashy dry. Thin palate. Too much fizz. Finishes fruity dry.

The taste is roasted malt, charred wood, light bitterness, coffee, nut, mild acidity and earth a dry, bitter finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty nice all round and a promising start to these guys.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lovely dark colour with a slight hint and a little carbonation when pouring, rich chocolate roast aroma to go with it. The taste is very roasted and malty and leaves that as an aftertaste, slight hints of vanilla make it a sweet taste as well, if you can get this while itís available I canít recommend it enough.
