3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sledutah (3192) - Utah, USA - MAY 15, 2011
12oz bottle from thirdeye11, thanks
Appearance: Pours hazy orange/yellow with a huge foamy white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving some light lacing
Aroma: Chili peppers and light malts
Taste: Full on chili peppers. If you don’t like spicy foods, then don’t even try this. I love spicy/hot foods and this is still a little much
Not bad, it is what it say it is.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Floback (484) - Naples, Florida, USA - MAY 1, 2011
Bottle from Total Wine. Pours a golden body with minimal head. A strong aroma of earthy peppers prick the nostril hairs. Full-on pepper and earth flavors with grain and wheat in the backbone. Aftertaste of copper. Thin body and medium carbonation. Interesting concept to say the least. Very different and refreshing, but overall, I wouldn’t drink this regularly.

Hazy yellow-orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of chile peppers and pickles. Taste is mildly malty, but mostly pickled chili peppers with a slight spiciness. Medium-thin. Moderate carbonation. Decent.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Palidor19 (2727) - Brandon, Florida, USA - MAR 31, 2011
There is no doubt that an overwhelming chili taste of spicy peppers is the main focus point of this beer. It is almost overwhelming that it can be hard to enjoy. The beer itself is standard yet not low quality. Drink with caution
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Redpointed (69) - Colorado, USA - MAR 24, 2011
Aroma is pleasant with some good chilli in it. Taste seems a little too sweet, with the chilly finish. Doesn’t seem to be too much other than the chilly flavor. Palate is nondescript. Overall pleasant if you want a slightly spicy malt beverage.
3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 redlight (2289) - Winter Park, Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2011
Chili queso on the noce, very peppery. Pours golden blonde with no head. Very sweet malty upfront with flat malt taste and just a burn on the finish. There it heat after you swallow but the aroma is so peppery I was expecting some very peppery flavor. Not bad but not great.

Thanks turd for the taste. Pours a yellow amber with a bit of a chill haze, been open for a bit and I didnt get a head. Nose is intense raw peppers and capsaicin (I share a disdain for both). So in all fairness I never actually tasted this beer. Once I smell anything like that I can’t actually put in my mouth. Same goes for Cave Creek. I smelled that one, done.

Bottle. Smells fresh lagerish with a slight spicy note. Looks like I pissed it my glass. To tell you the truth, I like this more than most pale lager type beers because it has more spice, for lack of a better word. Strong, peppery finish that lingers but doesn’t overwhelm the palate. Solid concept brew.

Bottle. Poured a hazy yellow color with a smaller white head. Aroma was all pepper and some malts. Flavor was spicy, peppers and malts. This is my second chili beer. The first I had to pour out. This one was drinkable, still not the best but ok.

The aroma is very vegetal with what seems like a pepper garden. It literally smells like fresh peppers! The appearance is pale gold and unimpressive. The taste is exactly like hot peppers with a lot of spice and a slight sweetness. The palate is thin and moderately carbonated. This is hard to rate not because it’s very spicy but I don’t really like the style however this is such a good example of what the style should be that I can’t hate it. If you like chili beer this is the best example that I have had. It might actually bring me around.
