2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is dusty jalapeno. Taste is much better with Chilies as just an accent. There us definitely spice buyer isnít overwhelming.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Shepís in St. Pete. Clear golden lager like pour with no head. Aroma is full of pepper spice, nothing else gets through. I like it. Flavors are just the same. Very chili forward yet this remained super drinkable. The heat in the finish just came and went after each sip. Didnít linger, but I love chilies and spicy food. Nicely done.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The subtle malt flavors of this beer compliment the strong but pleasant hot chili flavors and spices, The hops flavors are almost non-existent, but that works pretty well as the chilis do a good job of counteracting the sweetness of the malts.

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2012 Pours light golden with a small white head. Smells faintly of peppers and spice. Tastes Taste is instantly of spicy peppers with some generic pale ale tastes, without all the hops, and remains spicy all the way. Light-bodied with a wet texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Twisted Pine Billyís Chilies finishes with some strong pepper spicy heat. Overall this is a pretty good chili beer, but not the best Iíve had.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
sample from a 12oz bottle at the CASK Group Brew in Jacksonville, Feb 25, 2012. Golden beer with a white head and aroma of Jalapeno and Habanero. Interesting take on a chili beer. Some heat but not too hot and plenty of chili flavor. Smooth pale ale background. A good effort.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Served with tomato juice ("Bloody Billyís"). Cloudy red-orange appearance with minimal reddish head. Aromas of peppers, tomatoes, and spice. Flavor is sweet tomato up front, then a pleasant heat from the peppers that lingers momentarily. Soft carbonation and heavy body give it a smooth mouthfeel. The tomato is really a nice addition and compliments the heat from the peppers. One of my favorites at the Twisted Pine tap room.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2010 (Bottle). A clear bright golden color, no head, no lacing and very little carbonation. The aroma was overwhelmingly all chilies. The flavor exploded of peppers, chilies, and heat. I could feel the heat from the peppers coursing down my throat as I swallowed. The body was rather thin but harbored an amazingly big, hot, spicey, and peppery flavor. This whole "beer" is just interesting, but too one dimensional. It finishes...um...hot? Hardly resembles a beer, no malt character, no hop character, itís just a liquid jalepno.

3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Not quite what I expected. The pepper flavors arrive late so you begin with an odd , if not bland, taste to begin. An ok beer but one that could have been better

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Earthy, robust pepper/vegetable aroma. Sits flat in the glass with minimal head. Taste is interesting... good back of the palate heat... pepper/vegetable taste dominates. Finish is hot, but not unreasonably so. Interesting concoction.
