Beer_Hawk (759), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA May 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours pale with a thin white head. Kind of a musty wheat aroma. The flavor finds malts and a hint of citrus and light nuts. Sweet throughout with a light body. (Rating from June ’07)
Ungstrup (11338), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 17, 2008 Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt as well as hints of citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is thin. acrdz (4361), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 16, 2008 Clear pale yellow colored body with a medium-tall white head. Awful buttered popcorn nose... heavy with diacetyl, overpowering what would be some lemon citrus notes... horrible smell. Flavor is more buttered popcorn and crackers... tastes like Chicken-in-a-Biscuit. Body is lacking, medium fullness, weakens on the back... overall it’s just a downright awful beer, I hope it’s got to be better on draft. BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Aug 3, 2008 Bottle: pale golden in color with a small white head. Doughy nose, smells kind of old, with some very light citrus notes. Biscuity maltiness, semi-sweet and very light throughout. patrick767 (1449), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Apr 6, 2008 tap at the brewpub - Pours clear yellow with good lacing. The aroma is pale malt with light fruity esters in the background of both the aroma and flavor. It’s a sweet, light, refreshing beer as the style should be. It’s still fairly average overall, but maybe a little better than it’s rated.
