1.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Like Twisted Pineís chili beer Billyís Chilies, Ghost Face Killah is strictly a novelty beer. The result is a brew that looks and tastes a whole lot more like peppers than beer. While Ghost Face Killah might be fun to try with friends, itís too punishing to be enjoyable on its own and too gimmicky to be a decent craft ale. Hot stuff, though.

0.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
A- Peppers, spicy, smokey, chipotle.
A- Golden color, clear liquid, no head.
T- Extremely spicy, hot, peppery, wheat, smokey.
P- Light body, spicy texture, average carbonation, spicy finish.
O- This beer is hot as hell. Definitely more of a novelty beer and not something I would ever seek out. The peppers are scorching hot and burn all the way down. There is no reason I would ever want to drink this again. However, I think this could actually be for cooking however, This might be decent to braise chicken in for enchiladas or other Mexican food.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared at the Foothills Sexual Chocolate pre-release party. Pure ghost pepper burning that covers up any other pepper flavors. Donít let this stuff hit you in the back of the throat or it will linger for-ev-er. Just enough malt body and dry palate to makes this work for its novelty purpose.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle poured into a Belgian snifter. Pours an apricot yellow color with no head, just a half-inch off-white ring around the glass. Some light sediment in the glass. Aromas of mostly spicy peppers, definitely get the jalapeno peppers. Not getting much else on the aroma. Taste is mostly peppers like the aroma. Doesnít start to burn until swallowing. Pretty good mouth and lip burn

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
High anticipation for this beer, but I was a bit scared after reading all the reviews. This beer pours a cloudy orange/yellow with no head. The chili flavor is awesome, but it is really HOT. Not near as bad as most reviews if you enjoy peppers.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy dark yellow with large whitish foamy head, prominent chili pepper aroma, high carbonation, very hot chili taste which endures a long time. Very quaint for a bee,r but great with tortilla chips!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Iím a glutton for punishment. I enjoy really spicy things, so when I saw this one... I couldnít help myself. Poured a sad looking clear pale yellow lager color with a fizzy white head. Aroma smells like light malts with that distinct hot pepper fruit smell. Capsaicin. Flavor is, well, like light chili pepper notes. Then... the heat comes. Itís hot, lots of heat here - long lingering burn. Not really something Iíd probably normally consider drinking again alone, as I consumed the entire bottle by myself. The gimmick is done well, so props to that. There is truth in advertising here.
