12oz bottle pours dark brown with amber edges and thin tan head. It left a pretty decent sediment layer on the bottom of the bottle for a fairly fresh Brown Ale. The mild aroma offers up whiffs of roasted malts, a touch of yeast, nuttiness and a bit of earthy maltiness. The taste is pretty creamy with a mix of roasted malts, sweet nuttiness and a thin layer of earthiness. At times a bit of dark roasted malts is noticed too. Decent enough brown.
